Christ's Plan Of Redemption

He expounded unto them the plan of redemption,
which was prepared from the foundation of the world;
and he also made known unto them
concerning the coming of Christ.
(Alma 18:39)

Joy In Christ's Coming

And many of the people did inquire concerning
the place where the Son of God should come;
and they were taught that he would
appear unto them after his resurrection;
and this the people did hear
with great joy and gladness.
(Alma 16:20)

Looking Forward To Christ

Holding forth things which must shortly come;
yea, holding forth the coming of the Son of God,
his sufferings and death, and also
the resurrection of the dead.
(Alma 16:19)

Through The Redeeming Mercy of Christ

And it came to pass that Alma said unto him,
taking him by the hand: Believest thou
in the power of Christ unto salvation?

And he answered and said: Yea,
I believe all the words that thou hast taught.

And Alma said: If thou believest
in the redemption of Christ thou canst be healed.

And he said: Yea, I believe according to thy words.

And then Alma cried unto the Lord, saying:
O Lord our God, have mercy on this man,
and heal him according to his faith which is in Christ.

And when Alma had said these words,
Zeezrom leaped upon his feet, and began to walk;
and this was done to the great astonishment
of all the people; and the knowledge of this
went forth throughout all the land.
(Alma 15:6-11)

Faith In Christ Is Power

The Lord had granted unto them power,
according to their faith which was in Christ.
(Alma 14:28)

Christ Is Our Strength

O Lord, give us strength according to
our faith which is in Christ,
even unto deliverance.
(Alma 14:26)

Looking Toward The Christ

Now these ordinances were given after this manner,
that thereby the people might look forward on the Son of God,
it being a type of his order, or it being his order,
and this that they might look forward
to him for a remission of their sins,
that they might enter into the rest of the Lord.
(Alma 13:16)

Cleansed Through The Blood Of Christ

They were called after this holy order,
and were sanctified,
and their garments were washed white
through the blood of the Lamb.
(Alma 13:11)

After The Order Of Christ

Thus they become high priests forever,
after the order of the Son,
the Only Begotten of the Father,
who is without beginning of days or end of years,
who is full of grace, equity, and truth.
And thus it is.
(Alma 13:9)

To Serve As Did Jesus

This high priesthood being after the order of his Son,
which order was from the foundation of the world;
or in other words, being without beginning of days or end of years,
being prepared from eternity to all eternity,
according to his foreknowledge of all things.
(Alma 13:7)

Called Unto Christ

This holy calling being prepared
from the foundation of the world
for such as would not harden their hearts,
being in and through the atonement of
the Only Begotten Son, who was prepared.
(Alma 13:5)

Ordained After Christ

Remember that the Lord God ordained priests,
after his holy order, which was
after the order of his Son,
to teach these things unto the people.

And those priests were ordained
after the order of his Son,
in a manner that thereby
the people might know in what manner
to look forward to his Son for redemption.

Our Rest Is In Christ

Whosoever repenteth,
and hardeneth not his heart,
he shall have claim on mercy
through mine Only Begotten Son,
unto a remission of his sins;
and these shall enter into my rest.
(Alma 12:34)

God's Mercy Is In Christ

God did call on men, in the name of his Son,
(this being the plan of redemption which was laid) saying:
If ye will repent, and harden not your hearts,
then will I have mercy upon you,
through mine Only Begotten Son.
(Alma 12:33)

Freedom Through Jesus Christ

Behold, this is a choice land,
and whatsoever nation shall possess it
shall be free from bondage,
and from captivity, and from
all other nations under heaven,
if they will but serve the God of the land,
who is Jesus Christ, who hath been
manifested by the things
which we have written.
(Ether 2:12)

All Are Saved By Jesus Christ

The spirit and the body shall be
reunited again in its perfect form;
both limb and joint shall be
restored to its proper frame,
even as we now are at this time;
and we shall be brought to stand before God,
knowing even as we know now,
and have a bright recollection of all our guilt.

Now, this restoration shall come to all,
both old and young, both bond and free,
both male and female,
both the wicked and the righteous;
and even there shall not so much
as a hair of their heads be lost;
but every thing shall be restored to
its perfect frame, as it is now, or in the body,
and shall be brought and be arraigned
before the bar of Christ the Son, and God the Father,
and the Holy Spirit, which is one Eternal God,
to be judged according to their works,
whether they be good or whether they be evil.

Saved From Death By Christ

Now, there is a death
which is called a temporal death;
and the death of Christ
shall loose the bands
of this temporal death,
that all shall be raised
from this temporal death.
(Alma 11:42)
